Job Opportunity: Integrity & Information Officer (Privacy Focus)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Integrity & Information Officer to join a professional Corporate Governance team. This specific engagement is a long-term contract focused primarily on Privacy matters, ensuring compliance and best-practice management of sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide expert advice and case management specifically regarding Privacy compliance and ethical matters. Your core duties will include:

  • Privacy Case Management: Manage privacy complaints and compliance matters under the direction of the Program Leader.
  • Expert Advice: Provide clear, accurate, and articulate advice to internal staff and external stakeholders regarding privacy legislation and ethical standards.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including management and the public, with a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
  • Documentation: Prepare professional correspondence, including reports and assessments related to privacy matters.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure all information is captured accurately within business systems in accordance with record-keeping policies.
  • Policy & Training: Assist in drafting privacy-related policies and delivering training to staff using contemporary practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Privacy Expertise: Extensive practical experience and knowledge in dealing with Information Privacy and related legislation.
  • Case Management: Proven ability to manage complex cases with sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to research and write concise correspondence.
  • Organisational Skills: Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow mandated procedures with minimal guidance.
  • Collaboration: A strong team player who can build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
